CN WILLIAMS HISTORY

360 DUBAI

360-night club Dubai now defunct, was located at the end of Jumeirah Beach Hotel's Marina walkway – one of the world's most unique club locations with a magical, once-in-a-lifetime sunset experience. Boasting one of the best clubs in the world for three years running by UK DJ Magazine and scooping the Time Out Dubai Nightlife Award for 'Best Club' numerous times.

The venue was synonymous with quality music, hosting some of Dubai's most respected club nights. Guest DJs included Louise Vega, Jazzy B, Sam Divine, Joey Negro, Purple Disco Machine, Sandy Rivera, Grant Nelson, DJ Spen, Soul Central, Horse Meat Disco, Graeme Park. Paul Trouble Anderson, Booby & Steve and of course CN Williams!

TR!BECA DUBAI

Once located in the heart of JBR in Dubai, Tribeca was a must-go hotspot from its opening in 2015. The New York inspired nightspot was open seven nights a week, playing host to a discerning Dubai crowd with CN Williams at the helm.

The decor paid tribute to New York’s celebrated Tribeca neighbourhood, with a loft-style industrial feel united with unique creative elements and artworks. Winner of best ladies night Dubai (Hype Magazine Awards) 2016 and highly commended ladies night Dubai (Time Out Awards) 2016.

ESCAPE

The now-legendary Escape nightclub quickly established itself as Wales' number one dance venue, with CN Williams taking control of the House room every Saturday alongside DJ Bern from 1997 – 2012.

The national dance press awarded Escape the title of Wales' only superclub and continuously provided its audience with the world's top DJ's. The club itself had five bars, four rooms, two floors and three dance floor areas. However, the club's success and musical diversity was a testament to the resident DJ's, with three rooms home to three different musical genres: room one host's Progressive House and Trance. Room two hosted Funky US House and Garage, with room three delivering the very best in vocal UK Garage and R & B. The fourth area served as a time out bar with low-level lighting and local DJs

ESCAPE IN THE PARK

CN Williams was lucky enough to have the privilege of playing alongside the biggest names in the industry from Erick Morillo and Underworld to The Shapeshifters and Calvin Harris at 'Escape In The Park', Wales's biggest outdoor dance festival, from 2001 – 2011.

PAUL EDGINGTON PAYS HOMAGE TO
CN WILLIAMS AND BERN

The most significant and influential period during the courtship days of my love affair with House music was forged during the late 90's with the help of 2 very important men, 2 pioneers who's names when spoken or shouted became one, synonymous with each other, simply put, there was no Clifford without Bern!

When the duo formed after Clifford's explosion onto the Room 2 scene, I'd already been an Escape room 2 regular for about 18 months. I had become accustomed to being treated weekly by the sublime sounds of elite DJ guests and I grew loyal to the legendary residents Deli G, Chris Vatary, Danny Slade, Big Al, Teddy Brasco and that man Bern.

The club truly was an Escape in many ways, the same familiar faces gathered in their Saturday best, ready to groove in their finest dancing shoes, new faces came and went, if you weren't here for the music, this club was not for you! We drank Jack Daniels with Coke, Vodka with Red Bull, smoked Marlboro lights and we partied HARD, 5 to 6 hours of 'lets have it' funktastic shenanigans! We turned up religiously after counting down the hours until Saturday night, we expected a journey, a musical banquet, a buffet of soul piercing beats and a dance floor throbbing with an arms in the air atmosphere that no-one could resist, it was a case of the greatest show on earth every week.

MOLOKO COCKTAIL BAR

CN Williams joined forces with Myles Wellington in 2009, taking over a former bank and live music venue based In the middle of Swansea’s famous Wine Street.

It wasn’t long before the queue was halfway down the street every weekend!  CN’ transformed it into what the UK dance music press ironically labelled ‘the smallest superclub in the world’ playing host to a selection of local and guest DJ’s.

CN Williams left Moloko in late 2011 to concentrate on his international gigs and music production, but the venue remains open under the name Sea’z.

PINNACLE ENTERTAINMENT

Pinnacle Entertainment was Europe’s most extensive independent distribution and music marketing company with a unique position in the marketplace with a 4.3% share of the UK music market. Exclusively responsible for the sales and distribution of over 800 record labels and some of the most cutting-edge DVD and video games. CN Williams joined Pinnacle as head of dance music in 1999 after being headhunted due to signing serval chart-topping singles that achieved UK top 10 chart status.

He then signed an array of dance music record labels from Tommy Boy to Sugar Hill, Rukas to Basement Boys. He was held responsible for flagship record label and sister company Jive Records. He managed all the UK marketing for international artists, such as De La Soul, Chris Brown, Britney Spears, R Kelly, A Tribe Called Quest, Tupac, Usher, Backstreet Boys, Nsync and many more.
